collection of Jayuya, Puerto Rico have been in the hands of The Pintado family of Utuado,
Puerto Rico. These four are part of a bigger collection the family still
holds. The collection has been in the family for generations after
generations. They are part of the history of the U.S. conquest of Puerto Rico 50 plus
years ago. The U.S. universities and government agencies excavated different sites
in Puerto Rico, particularly Jayuya.
Jayuya is a municipality of
Puerto Rico located in the mountainous center region of the island.
